Avalanche Ranch

Maren LOVED going to Vacation Bible School last week at her grandparent's church. Here are a few highlights, in her own words.

"It was fun. There were super fun songs. There was one song that was called 'We're on a Wild Ride' and one called 'The Great Adventure' and there were a whole bunch of them and I liked them all.

"There were a bunch of fun crafts. My favourite craft was two games. You tried to hook up pipe cleaners without your fingers. There were little hooks and there were bowls and it was like a bull. You tried to get the pipe cleaners with little hooks on it for horns. You tried to hold one and get the rest on by hooking them when it went down. You could keep going until you got all six of them on.

"Another game: you tried to get this little ball inside this little plastic bottle. That was it, but it was pretty hard! It seems easy, but it is hard.

"Silas dyed his hair green on the last day."

Bonus for my country music hatin' husband: the singalong CD has a country theme. Yeehaw!

Elijah Horsman dictated through Dave:

To Maren,

I went to Avalance Ranch as well here in Bloomington, Minnesota. The only song I liked was "Wild Ride", but I did love all the games and the crafts. "Wild Bible Adventures" was my favorite thing at the VBS!

Elijah
