Hey, you know this goofy girl? She is spending her second night in the hospital tonight.
She started complaining of pain in her knee on Friday; Mitch took her to the clinic yesterday when I noticed signs of infection (redness, swelling, heat) and they sent her straight to the hospital. She is getting antibiotics through an IV and the infection seems to be coming under control, so hopefully she will be released tomorrow.
We'd really appreciate your prayers for Maren: she has felt a lot of anxiety about every new step in the process and doesn't like being there. I'll also make sure to pass along any get-well wishes you leave here.

Hi Maren! I hope you feel better soon. I had to spend a few nights in the hospital when I was 5. It was a little scary, but I made some new friends while I was there. I hope you meet some cool people there too. (^-^)
Hey Maren, I had to spend some time at the hospital when I was 3. Now you can see what the doctors and nurses do in case you want to be one when you grow up.

Hi Maren! I'm sure it's not fun being in a strange place, and especially away from your family. I will be praying for a speedy recovery, and I hope your stay in the hospital brings you lots of good company, and maybe even a treat or two!
