The day before yesterday I lost my tooth because my mom pulled it out. It didn't bleed and it didn't hurt. She tied a string to my tooth and just pulled on it. She was going to do a huge pull but she only needed a little pull and it came right out.
I put it under my pillow but the Tooth Fairy didn't come. She left me a note and it said that she was helping Ratoncito Pérez* with teeth because he was so busy this week, and to leave it there another time. So I did it and she came and gave me two dollars.
* "Spain: I tuck my tooth under my pillow. While I'm asleep, the little mouse called Ratoncito Pérez will take my tooth and leave me money or candy in return." (Maren found this description in Throw Your Tooth on the Roof)
