I really like this song... which is, of course, why I'm sharing it with you. ( ^_^ ) It's gentle and lovely, with Deb Talan's unique vocals floating through the melody, almost as though her instrument is tuned differently. But what I appreciate most about this song is the reminder of how love transforms.
"Rain turns the sand into mud..." It makes me wonder about how much I allow God's love to transform me... what that change looks like. And whether I allow God's love to flow through me to other people with sufficient force for
them to be transformed by it, too.
Your thoughts?

Hey,
This is a nice song. I love the words. Dave and I have been listening to a lot of different things lately. Dave listens to CBC radio a lot of the time, so he always hears about bands and artist that you normaly may not hear or know about. Have you ever heard any of Jill Barber or Jen Grant. Great music, easy to listen to. Thanks for sharing this...
I'm familiar with both of those creative Bluenosers and looooove Jenn Grant. She was here about a year ago and put on a great show. Her album is so lovely.
I didn't know you guys were indie fans! I'm an indie geek myself. Do you check out mp3 blogs for new stuff?
Well we love a TON of different music. We started listening to Jill Barber when we lived in PEI. We just fell in love with her and then hear Jen Grant and the same thing.
I really enjoy listening to that type of music when we are driving somewhere or traveling. Ever heard of Great Lake Swimmers..also really good!!!!
Hope you had a good weekend away. I dig Great Lake Swimmers, too. The kids LOVE their song "See You On The Moon."
