Two Things

Time for fun!

Firstly, I hope that you do better than I do at the Moon Survival Challenge. Your job is prioritize a list of items that you crash-landed with on the moon... then your answers are compared with NASA's list.

At a 2% chance of survival, it's a good thing I'm unlikely to crash-land on the surface of the moon.

Secondly, this is a long, cold winter that apparently isn't going anywhere soon. Folks, I feel it's time to spread a little love and joy around. Care to join me?

I stumbled across Hope Revolution, a project that encourages people to create a stack of notes with messages of hope and leave them in public places. Wouldn't it be lovely to happen upon an encouraging note as you do your errands? I scribbled a few to take with me to Chapters the other day, leaving them here and there, and I hope that someone's day was made brighter.

So I'm thinking of having a little Hope Revolution party... an afternoon or evening of creating hopeful little notes together. Maybe we could even go out to sprinkle them around the city? (If you don't live around here, maybe your town could use a little love, too.) Leave me a comment if you're interested!

I got 16%, so you can stick with me. Between us we'll have an 18% chance of returning to the mother ship. (Hm, some things, you just never imagine yourself saying, eh?)

I also think the Hope Revolution is a great idea. Let me know how it goes!!

Janice, I love how when I send my typing out into the ether after the sun has gone down, I can count on you to pipe up!

Glad to hear you're a slightly more competent stranded astronaut.

24% survival rate on the moon! Who knew? I think as long as you get the first one or two right, you're doing pretty good.

I want to do a Hope Revolution! I think I'd actually like to find one or two of these little notes myself. Seems like we all need a reason to be hopeful these days, especially with this miserable weather.

PS - I can only comment on noticability if I have a blogger account... is that because you don't want me commenting?? :(

Oh, oops! No, I just haven't changed the settings... I'll do that right now. I'm curious about which photo you want to comment on!

P.S. I'm so glad you want to do some Hope Revolution notes, Mandi! I would do it on my own anyway, but it would be even more fun to do it with other people.

I got a 30%. how do you find out the way it should be done?

I like those notes! It would be fun to wait around in the next aisle and see someone smile from it!
