Still Life with Socks, December 7th

All of the photos below were taken this morning. Together, they comprise a rare collection of wild socks found in their natural habitats. The wild sock population is showing promising signs of growth in this particular region; scientists agree that the herd seems to proliferating at a rate far above projections. There is disagreement, however, on the issue of whether population control measures will be required to prevent an infestation of socks in this region.

Hahaha. 10 hours later, and I'm still laughing. You should make this into a coffee table book! I'd buy it.

You know what's even funnier? We did a Sock Treasure Hunt when everyone got home... and found at least half a dozen more that I missed!

I love it! It's nice to know another family has socks in random places all over their house too. Another strange phenomenon at our house: about half of our spoons have disappeared over the past year or so. Just gone. Do spoons go missing at your house too?

I LOVED IT!!!
I'm tempted to go hunting socks in my own habitat. I'm sure I'd be just as fortunate :)
