Malcolm: I know what a blessing is. It's just when something is scary and you are just scared and that's a blessing and then you count your blessings.
Maren: No. That's not what a blessing is.
Malcolm: Yes.
Maren: Uh-uh.
Malcolm: Yes, it is a blessing.
Maren: No.
Malcolm: Yes.
Maren: No.
Mel: What do you think a blessing is, Maren?
Maren: It's when something is... exciting or fun. Hey! Let's count our blessings!
Malcolm: Yeah! Let's count them! We have a fridge—that's a blessing.
Maren: And food for eating. That's two blessings.
Malcolm: And we have... just a house. And friends to play with sometimes.
Maren: That's four blessings. And we have... a smart Maren who can teach our family things. And remind her mother about some things, because smart Maren is a good member-er and her mother is not a very good member-er. That makes five blessings. I bet we have one hundred blessings!

love it! someone should really make a show sometime about kids saying funny things. kids even say the darndest things sometimes, don't they.
I think you're onto something, Dave. You should pitch it to NBC... or FOX. It could be "Kids Say The Darndest Things Survivor." The least funny kid could get voted off.
