I've added a new feature to the sidebar to showcase one of Malcolm's personality quirks: "What Malcolm's Listening to on Repeat Today."
A while ago, I showed the kids how to use the buttons on our keyboard that control our media player (play, pause, rewind, skip, stop). Malcolm's favourite button to press is rewind... he will often listen to one song or story for an hour at a time, or two or three! Sometimes he chooses a children's song (like Raffi's "Joshua Giraffe"), but usually he draws from the kid-safe adult repertoire (like "Mambo Italiano" or "Where Is My Mind?," or "Make 'Em Laugh" from the Singin' In The Rain soundtrack).
It will be interesting to see how this trait evolves as Malcolm grows. I'm sure it will make perfect sense someday when he's a single-minded researcher of some rare species of slug particular to the Carpathian mountains, or an obsessive 43-year old collector of retro Lego instruction booklets.
