The absence of posts near the end of last week wasn't just lack of inspiration--I was busy visiting my new little nephew, Rory!
Jody and the little guy are both very healthy and the whole birth went off without a hitch. She did an amazing job bringing all 8 lbs. 7 oz. of beautiful baby boy into the world. Welcome to the world, Rory!

Jody was at nine centimetres when I arrived and she pushed for less than an hour, so I made it, but just barely!
