It's the first (big) snow of the year!!!Our camera battery needs recharging, so I'm unable to show you all the glorious, dreamy view out the front window. Instead, in honour of this twenty-centimetre event, I'll share a great snow-related website with you. Make-a-Flake is a virtual snowflake maker... you can create a whole snowbank of lovely white stuff without the tiny little paper clippings! Enjoy!

Oh! I'm jealous! It's freezing here, but still no snow. My kids have been caged up for the past week. For some reason, it seems almost cruel to send them out in these frigid temperatures with no snow to play in.
ARGH! I have quizzes to mark, exams to make and essays to edit!! I don't have time to make snowflakes for 28 minutes!!! (My best one tonight was # 12721718. You can check it out.) There are some pretty amazing ones in that gallery. Wow.
oh, Janet, I feel your pain. No snow here either.
Oh, how lovely! I like that! I get stuck sometimes, too :) At least it's a creative activity, as opposed to some other forms of procrastination that involve drooling.
Janet, I love these lines from the Hawksley Workman's song "First Snow of the Year":
I know by February my thoughts on snow will be contrary
But this is now and then is then...
IT'S THE FIRST SNOW OF THE YEAR!!!
