Camera Envy

Mitch is taking a photography course as a requirement of his work. I think he's beginning to understand my yearning for an 8.1 megapixel digital SLR camera. One of the benefits for our family is weekend fieldtrips to fill the quota of 36 photos. Yesterday we spent four hours outside, wandering about finding interesting subjects.

As for those of you who have inquired why Mitch doesn't post on the blog, the answer is... yes, he is too good for it. He considers blogs a menial, simpleton's form of communication and despises them wholeheartedly. Wait, no, that's not true... it's actually that I'm an autocratic maternal unit whose mission in life is to control the public image of our family. Wait, wait... I'm lying again. Truth is, he feels burnt from communications output all day. But if you ask, beg, and plead, perhaps he can be persuaded to post a few of the photos he has taken for his course. Bribery with chocolate is a useful strategy. Seriously. If he was a superhero, chocolate would definitely be his weakness.

Hey, Dan! It has been a very long while! Thanks for stopping in. Are you a blog junkie who reads blogs or has a blog?

Give us a call sometime. We should get together for a BBQ or something now that the warm weather is (prematurely) here.
