A New Era

I'm feeling (perhaps disproportionately) proud of myself. Yesterday I cleaned the oven. Scoured and scrubbed and toiled and laboured. For those of you who think, "Alright, so... you cleaned the oven," let me reveal to you this fact: in my (nearly) 28 years, I have never cleaned this or any other oven. Usually I just move.

So come over and I'll bake something for you in my very clean oven.

Yep. It isn't a very complicated procedure, but it's freakin' hard work!

I've managed to out un-clean both of you...I moved to a place that doesn't have an oven!! (I cleaned my toaster oven last week though...does that count?)

No fair! That's cheating! You're disqualified.

Mel,
So... it's because of people like you that when I move, I end up cleaning 2 ovens (mine and the new one that has been left crusty for me)! Good progress! :)

It's true, Jenn. Guilty as charged. The moral of the story? Don't work so hard on the place you're moving out of!
