Curse You, Otitis Media!

Looks like Maren has an ear infection again. What a miserable experience. She began complaining that her ear was hurting last night around 9:30, woke up wailing at 4:30, slept in this morning until 9:30, and has been laying on the couch all morning, dozing off now and then. I hope this isn't going to be a recurring problem. Prayers are appreciated.

Update: We got an appointment at the clinic this afternoon, and within an hour of her first dose of antibiotics, Maren is back to herself. It was also the most successful doctor's appointment we've had. Maren has always been very nervous of doctors, but today she was able to talk about what scares her (waiting in the examination room for the doctor to come, and when they are abrupt and loud) and let me know how to help her. Really good. Hopefully it will be a good night tonight.
