One Hundred Pushups! Ha!

One hundred pushups .... That sounds just about impossible at this point, since I can't even do one proper pushup right now! (I can do eight or nine from my knees. I know, so impressive, right?)

BUT! Mitch and I are going to tackle this six week training program for working up to one hundred consecutive pushups. I have a feeling six months is a more reasonable time frame for me, but if I can manage to actually do it, I don't really care how long it takes. We'll give you updates now and then to let you know how we're doing.

So ... anyone want to join us? There's strength in numbers!

WooooHoooo! Good for you guys. Just remember to keep your back allignment good, we don't want any back injuries. After doing 300 last year for my black belt, I couldn't move my arms for days. Gradual progress is much healthier, I should have asked them to give me 6 months, lol.

I tried this, and couldn't keep up with the pace! But it is a fun challenge. Good luck guys!

Come on, Janice, do it!

I started with being able to do zero actual pushups and a maximum of eight from my knees. I've decided my goal is to do the program on my knees and then maybe try it again after with "real" pushups. It's been manageable enough so far tackling it this way, and I'm up to 17 (in five sets) already.

You can do it!
