"Now that I'm 31, I think it's just as fun"

I ran across this great little booklet yesterday promoting biking. The authors say that 40% of all car trips are 2 miles (3.2 km) or less, and that if everyone started using their bikes for one of those trips once a week, or even just once a month, it would make a huge difference to our impact on the environment... and personal health and quality of life!

I really like the way they stress that biking is not an all-or-nothing thing. They suggest starting with picking one destination in a two-mile radius that you will always bike to. Or taking one day a week or month that you will only bike instead of drive. Or committing to using your bike for all trips within one or two miles.
