Maren "The best thing about school is art because I like crafts and drawing and being creative. I haven't made anything in art so far, but I'm making a caterpillar. I'm ripping shapes out of construction paper to make it. And my teacher is Ms. Steeves and she's also the vice-principal and she also taught me in music."
Malcolm "I like going to gym because I like playing with the balls. We kick them and stuff."
Melanie "I've been enjoying classes, especially Shakespeare II and American Literature II. I think it would be really lovely if university was attending lectures, having discussions, and reading books; papers optional, exams definitely off the list. (Kind of the intellectual equivalent of chatting in the hot tub instead of doing laps.)"

I agree with Mitch! Fortunately, Kaitlyn has developed an interest in making her own lunch. Now, if only the boys would make theirs...
I also loved Shakespeare when I took it! Who's teaching it these days? Your posts are really making me miss school!!
I'm glad all the scholars are doing well! I kind of wish University was like Mel's suggestion, but with the addition of Maren and Malcolm's classes too. Can you image how great that would be? Throw in making caterpillars and kicking balls along with English Lit, and I'd be there in a heartbeat!!
