We Can't Help It

You know how sometimes you're supposed to be serious and maybe a little mad, but you can't help giggling?

Last night the kids were turning dinner into an extended version of the regular Dinner Marathon, so Mitch and I started on the dishes. Gurgling sounds issued forth from the dining room. "Kids, no blowing bubbles in the water, please."

"We can't help it, though, because we're aliens!"

"I... you... uh...."
