Go ahead and wager a guess...
a) Did I check the weather forecast or call the school cancellation line this morning when I saw that it was snowing?

b) Did the weather prevent me from bundling up my children to walk to school this morning (while grumping at my daughter for dawdling and running late again)?
c) Did we come home after discovering a school with an empty parking lot and dark windows?
Aaaand for the bonus:
d) Did I remember that today was a Professional Development Day, which means no school for students?
Turns out not only did I drag my kids out into the snowstorm on a day off, it would have been closed anyway, just like the university... and the buses. Doh.

I've done it Melanie. At the boys' school there are a handful of days during the year that the 1/2 day kinders don't have school while the rest of the school does. I sent Zeke to school on the bus with Elijah, and then had to go pick him up. Zeke was not impressed! His teacher, who was in the classroom doing parent/teacher conferences, was very understanding and forgiving though. Thankfully.
Glad to hear I'm not alone!
