Exploding Head Syndrome

I would make a great American. I don't get sick very often and I usually ignore weird things that go on with my body until they go away.

And thusly, I have just discovered (thanks to the internet) that a few years ago I had Exploding Head Syndrome. No, really! You have to admit, if you're going to have any kind of syndrome, this might be the coolest-sounding one you could have. EXPLODING HEAD SYNDROME!!!

For a few weeks (months?), I would have a bang go off in my head--a gigantic noise inside my little noggin. Sometimes it was a sound like a gunshot, quite often it was a huge electrical-sounding zap. Like being electrocuted, maybe, except without the voltage. Isn't that so weird?

Good thing it turns out it's benign.

P.S. Exploding Head Syndrome! (I just like the way it sounds.)
