The kids went to a birthday party on the weekend at an indoor amusement park, which has a Chapters store attached. (A glass wall buffers the sound between the two.) They are very fond of Chapters, as we often spend an hour or two there on the weekends. Malcolm's commentary:
"I don't like the noise of the roller coaster and all that screaming. It hurts my ears. People shouldn't scream in there. They aren't allowed to scream."
"Well, yes, it is okay for them to scream in the amusement park. Sometimes people get really excited––"
"No! Because if they scream then the people in Chapters trying to read will get erected!"
