My Christmas Concert

My Christmas Concert
by Maren Mealey

I felt excited about singing songs in the Christmas concert at school. I sang The Twelve Days of Christmas in French because I'm in French Immersion and also in French I sang Quand le Père Noel Viens Me Visiter with my class. And I also sang lots more, like I sang Jingle Bell Rock, I sang We Wish You a Merry Christmas, and I sang in choir Frosty the Snowman, Carolling Carolling, and Silver Bells. I think my favourite was Silver Bells.

In the picture, I'm lifting the paper up because in Les Douze Jours de Noel, I had to lift it up because I picked my name out of somebody's hat in the class and I got to get that one, "une tres jolie boîte de caramel," and I had to lift it up every time they sang "une tres jolie boîte de caramel."

Your pictures rock...ours suck! All black and "empty". I'm glad that you have a great camera...
And, Maren, you did a fine job singing!

I'm sorry your pictures didn't turn out, Deb. I've got some great ones of your kid that I can share--he's so entusiastic and animated!
