Guess who got new glasses? (Hint: that's me in the picture.)
The world is quite a different place when everything is sharp and clear... a little overwhelming, in fact. There are details everywhere! The soft-focus was less work, in one way, because I didn't have to pay attention to so many things. I've been tempted to put the old glasses back on just to have a break. Which reminds me of life, kind of. Sometimes I really would like to go back to what I know instead of the new and better way, because it's more comfortable.
