'Tis a Gift To Be Simple

I've been mulling over a quote I read on The Happiness Project this morning:

"Prosperity fosters bad tempers.” (Seneca)

I'm sure I don't have anything terribly original to say about this idea. I've just been thinking over how easily entitlement and materialism can creep into my thinking—even though I would never consciously choose those beliefs—stealing away my contentment and joy in the life I am living.

Time to go enjoy some simple things....
