The Blog Came Back the Very Next Day... er, Week

Well hello, there! I hope your week was as enjoyable as ours was. The sunshine and warm temperatures brought us out of winter hibernation for bike rides, evening walks, trips to the park.... The break from the computer was very welcome, making time for more connection and relaxation. (Although I did bend the rules a little to find phone numbers. And camera specs. But hey, they're my rules.)




So what did you miss? Let's see... Maren learned to tie her shoes (in just twenty minutes!)... we bought a digital SLR camera... our Earth Day resolution is to buy local more often... Mitch's brother flew in this week... and this little scene:

We stopped in to Frenchy's, where Maren and Malcolm ran for the kid's corner. There was a nature show on the TV for about five minutes before it switched to Jack Van Impe or something like that. So I said, "I'm going to change the channel, kids, because I'm not sure what this is."

Malcolm whipped around. "What'd you say?"

"I'm going to change the channel. I'm not sure what this is."

"What?"

"I'm not sure what this is."

A look of confusion flitted across his face before he settle on an expression of patience. "Mama... it's a TV."
