Greetings, fellow earthlings! It's finally spring here. Everything is sun-kisses and birdsong and warm breezes, hurrah! It made great weather for celebrating Earth Day outside this weekend.
We do what we can to live more sustainably—recycle, reduce energy consumption, walk when we can, and avoid plastic bags, to name a few—but if everyone lived like our family does, we would need 2.3 planets. Wow, eh? (You can calculate your ecological footprint here.)
So I've been thinking about creating an "Earth Day Resolution" tradition in our family—one earth-friendly lifestyle change we can tackle in the coming year. I'll let you know what we decide.
