Bon matin! You MUST listen to Sounds Like Canada this morning to hear Rose Cousins, who is up for a couple of East Coast Music Awards (Rising Star Recording of the Year and SOCAN Songwriter of the Year). She is lovely and charming, down-to-earth and completely unpretentious, funny and a great storyteller, and writes songs that will make you happy and sad, then sings them in a voice that is stirring and clear.
