Phases

Life is always quirky and unpredictable with little ones.

One kid (who has been known to sport a turtleneck and jogging pants as beachwear on the hottest day of the summer) eschews most clothing now that the frigid temperatures of Canadian winter are drawing near. Yesterday he was boycotting winterwear, with the result that I carried him to the wagon and put his winter coat, hat, mittens, and boots in alongside him, thinking he'd get cold and put them on himself. ("That'll learn 'im.") Except it was freakishly mild outside, so he still didn't want to get dressed.
