A Bushel and A Peck

One part of having kids I love is celebrating together and creating our own family traditions. One of those great traditions is apple-picking, although we really missed going with the church this year. It's so fun to drive out to the orchard, hop on the wagon ride, and fill a few bags with crisp, sweet apples. This year we also packed a picnic. Plus, we usually get some great pictures.

I always want to pick a WHOLE LOT, with visions of apple butter, baked apples, apple sauce, apple pies, apple everything in my mind. Usually we just end up eating most of the forty pounds, though. If you have any favourite apple recipes to share, please do.

the apple dip recipe i use is...
