ROAAAAAARRRR!

My children frequently turn mealtime into a puppet show. A cheese stick becomes Grampie, Grammie is a baby carrot, Maren is a shorter cheese stick, and so on. The script today starred two apple slices.

Malcolm: Roaaaaaaarrrr! I'm a monster train! ROAAAAAARRRR!
Maren: Hello, welcome to the synagogue. I'm the rabbi. I'm the teacher at the synagogue. I want to tell you that God loves you.
Malcolm: ROAAAAAAARRRR!

I'm going to miss preschool at the synagogue.

I know -- there are so many things to legitimately say "No" to that this seems not worth squashing the imagination and creativity at work. Hopefully they'll be able to hold their own at dinner parties!
