We're enjoying various shades of Irishness at our house today. I think the tradition the kids like best is license to pinch anyone not wearing green (and also, apparently, anyone who can't do better than green socks!) Streaming audio from Dublin set the mood for a little jig and some holiday crafts. Our library trip to research leprechauns and other Irish folklore was fruitless, however. Now, a little Guinness once the little people are in bed would be lovely....

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We're enjoying various shades of Irishness at our house today. I told my students about St.Patrick's Day, and gave a candy to everyone who was wearing green. (I didn't think to pinch those who weren't though. I'll remember that for next year!)
