Aaah, the giddy days of early spring. It's like falling in love with the earth and sky all over again! For the first time this year, we can leave windows open all day and night. I enjoy the winter, too, but I welcome spring with open arms!I'm feeling just a little befuddled, though.... I grew up in Edmonton, where by the time Halloween came, there were snow drifts up to my sixth-grader knees. The flip side of this deal is that by February spring was well on its way, and by March, winter was long gone. Here in the Maritimes, winter seems to drag on and on and on.
Although I've been living in the Maritimes since 1993, I only just figured out this past year or so that winter starts and ends much later here. (Not exactly a quick study!) So this year, I had adjusted my mental timetable of the seasons, feeling very prepared for the late-April arrival of spring. So--not that I'm complaining--what's going on this year? I'm all confused!

I think your excess winter got lost and landed in South Korea.
