What Maren's Listening To

Maren's preschool class is featuring one child as "Star of the Week" for six weeks. This week Maren's the star, and thrilled to be so! We've written a book together called All About Maren (illustrated with photos taken by yours truly) and compiled a CD of her favourite songs to share with the class (an eclectic mix bringing together artists such as Raffi, the Beatles, and Buckwheat Zydeco soon to be available on amazon.ca). She'll also take in some of her favourite books and toys.

Her complete delight at being the centre of attention in preparation for this week has reminded me how much each child needs to be celebrated and receive undivided attention from time to time.
